This is the biggest release since 02.05.196. It brings handwriting that files itself, shift-aware nursing, asset and complaint management, faster registration and billing control. Alongside the new capabilities, 414 corrections ship across every module.

What's new

Handwriting that files itself (Clinical Documentation)

Write a clinical note by hand and Smart Write reads it, sorts it into the right SOAP sections and matches diagnoses to the master with their ICD-10 codes. It understands Hindi and regional languages, shows how confident it is, and learns each doctor's handwriting across devices.

A nursing station that runs itself (In-Patient & Nursing)

Duty rosters, bed assignment per shift, a to-do list for every patient and alerts to the assigned nurse, with escalation to the charge nurse when something is overdue. Intake and output charts and a day-wise treatment plan sit alongside.

Every asset, every complaint, one thread (Asset, Maintenance & Complaints)

Scan an asset's QR code, raise a complaint with a priority, follow it on a timeline and rate the result. Turnaround time, vendor scorecards, waiting status and a full asset history now come with the new Asset and Maintenance dashboards.

Register a patient in seconds (Patients, Registration & Queue)

Scan an Aadhaar secure QR code to prefill registration, scan and share an ABHA profile, or let patients enter their own details at a self-service kiosk. Save and bill in one step, with the new patient already selected.

Bills you can correct, and receipts you can void (Billing & Accounts)

Edit a settled bill's payment type and amount, void an ordinary bill receipt and return the bill to due, or hold an in-patient bill open until final insurer approval. Print bills and receipts in bulk by number or date range.

Pharmacy that sells by the tablet (Pharmacy & Inventory)

Bill in strips or tablets with the quantity worked out automatically. A negative-stock guard stops sales, issues and adjustments that would take stock below zero, and returns and pending requisitions are quicker to handle.

Attendance, rosters and payroll adjustments (Human Resources)

Connect an eSSL biometric attendance machine to HR Attendance. Employee loans with EMI deduction, bonus generation and an increment master bring payroll closer to a single screen.

Ready for hospitals in more countries (Administration & Platform)

Medicines carry international codes (ATC, RxNorm, SNOMED CT, NDC), lab codes can be validated against the LOINC release, and SMS notifications follow the facility's country, with Africa's Talking supported for Ghana.

Clinical Documentation

• Smart Write extends to in-patient progress and nursing notes, handwritten medicine orders that reach pharmacy and nursing at once, and a discharge summary drafted from the admission's notes.
• Nursing app: write nursing notes by pen at the bedside and see them live on the nursing station.
• Smart Write can be switched on per tenant and its usage is metered.
• Choose which sections appear on the printed visit summary.
• Long free-text notes are no longer cut short.
• An Emergency appointment category now drives visit type, billing and lab orders end to end.

In-Patient & Nursing

• Weekly duty roster grid, My Roster for nurses, and a charge nurse on every roster.
• Print the day's drug and treatment chart; chart non-drug treatment lines on the medication record.
• Nursing Advice master with a Select Advice pick-list on Nursing Notes.
• Make the discharge billing gate configurable per facility.
• Optional doctor qualification in the Daily Register incharge column; TPA and admission type added to the Admission List report.
• Doctor-wise admission and consultation count report with chart.
• Print an in-patient wristband, with a reprint action.

Billing & Accounts

• E-wallet master with a country list and per-tenant enable and disable.
• Daily collection report grouped by shift and operator, ready to print.
• Due and Credit columns on the Billing Dashboard, so overpaid bills show clearly.
• Change the payment mode on a deposit receipt, where permitted.
• Receipt list filters by facility, department and clinic.
• Advance Accounting records every goods receipt as a vendor purchase bill.
• Record one payment across several bills with Multiple Receipt.
• Money amounts follow the facility's country for digit grouping and decimal places across screens, apps and prints.
• Bill and estimate prints use the facility's own time zone.

• Advance Accounting posts zero-value lines and negative stock instead of refusing the document, and posts later edits to a posted document as a new revision with history.

Pharmacy & Inventory

• Select All on invoices in Pharmacy Return.
• Print pending, not-yet-invoiced pharmacy requisitions.
• Store-wise letterhead and registration details on store prints.
• Payer column (TPA or cash) on in-patient pharmacy requisitions.
• Pharmacy sale bill layout with the licence header (Form 20, 21, 20F and NDPS details).

Laboratory & Radiology

• Auto sample collection when a laboratory requisition is created, switched on in Laboratory Configuration.
• Search the Lab Dashboard by investigation.
• Radiology reports printed from the consultation screen use the radiology letterhead.

Asset, Maintenance & Complaints

• Asset history with the full lifecycle, exportable to Excel and PDF.
• Maintenance action on the asset list, maintenance activity in asset history, and an advanced filter on the maintenance list.
• Complaint priority, colour-coded lists, turnaround time, downtime and an activity timeline.
• Raise a general complaint without an asset; reopen and rate completed work.
• Engineers are notified by app, email and SMS when a breakdown complaint is assigned.
• Vendor scorecards use recorded response and restoration hours.
• A field app foundation for asset technicians, with sign-in and facility-scoped access.

Patients, Registration & Queue

• Per-facility option to make the patient mobile number optional.
• Add a personal identity number such as a civil or national ID to the small print sticker.
• ABHA profile shows the consent on record; ABHA Scan and Share books the appointment and queue token.
• Queue token list opens the New Appointment wizard in place.
• Care app: a printable download poster with the facility logo, in five designs and eleven languages.

Human Resources

• Quick Add Employee form with mandatory-field and email and mobile validation, plus a welcome notification.
• Export all non-sensitive employee fields to Excel.
• Employee loan with loan master, bonus generation and an increment master.

Administration & Platform

• Wallet recharges by PayPal now complete correctly.
• Login and Change Password screens work well on phones.
• Master location fields can be searched by country, state and city.
• Consent is no longer treated as missing when treatment is the legitimate use; it is requested only for secondary purposes.
• India bill and receipt SMS use "Rs." so each fits in a single message.
