What's new

Eight changes you will feel on day one. This release concentrates on the counters where your day happens: the pharmacy till, the in-patient bill, the queue, and the phone in your patient's pocket.

Stock that counts in strips and tablets (Pharmacy & Inventory)

Sell a single tablet and the opened strip draws down correctly. You no longer reconcile loose stock by hand at the end of the day. The ledger matches the shelf, in both units, automatically.

The running bill, rebuilt for the keyboard (Billing & Accounts)

A new in-patient billing workspace designed for speed at the counter. Add services without lifting your hands from the keys. It was built with the people who use it for eight hours a day.

Pricing that holds its nerve (Billing & Accounts)

Rates are now calculated on the server. A running bill stays on the tariff in force until it is finalised, and re-prices itself the moment the payer, bed class or plan changes.

Scan a prescription, get a bill (Pharmacy & Inventory)

The new free pharmacy tier reads a paper prescription and builds the bill lines for you. It then prints to a 58 mm or 80 mm thermal roll.

The Care app grows up (Care Application)

Patients register themselves, sign in by WhatsApp code anywhere in the world, and see lab values with reference ranges, admission history, visit notes and discharge summaries.

One tower, every asset (Asset & Maintenance)

A Group Control Tower gives a consolidated view of assets across every facility in the organisation. The engineer on a breakdown is notified the instant it is raised.

Skip the counter entirely (Queue Management)

Self-service kiosks issue tokens: scan the appointment QR and walk in. Priority rules for VIP, senior, pregnant and emergency patients run automatically, with safeguards so nobody waits forever.

The books close themselves (Accounts)

Goods receipts, purchase bills, vendor payments, advances, opening stock and write-offs now post to the general ledger automatically. The purchase-to-payable chain is complete end to end.

Across the platform

Every module gained something this cycle.

Pharmacy & Inventory

  • Schedule H1 and narcotic sale register for statutory reporting.
  • Fast Moving and Slow Moving stock reports across inventory and pharmacy.
  • A purchase order can carry the same item on several lines, with different batches, rates or expiry dates.
  • Generic drug name now included in the item export.
  • Kit Master picker added to Stock Transfer Request.

Billing & Accounts

  • In-patient packages apply once per day of stay, priced at the class occupied that day.
  • The consultant on an issued bill can be corrected, and the change shows on the lab report and the reprint.
  • Invoices email automatically on finalisation, and send over WhatsApp.
  • Accumulated Depreciation and Asset Register reachable directly from the menu.
  • Pre-defined user types in Advance Accounting, so access is one choice, not a long list.
  • Country-scoped bank master, so each country's banks appear in the right facilities.
  • Registration date shown on the billing screen, with a warning when it has expired.

Laboratory & Radiology

  • Machine-specific reference ranges per investigation, so results are read against the analyser that produced them.
  • The accession identifier sent to analysers is configurable: bill number or sample number.
  • Package reports now use the same category-wise page breaks as standard reports.
  • Print All Reports shows the printed status of each individual report.
  • Patient detail fields on the report template are configurable.
  • Turnaround-time report from collection to certification, with drill-down.

In-Patient & Nursing

  • Medication administration schedule, with automatic return of undispensed medication.
  • Printed discharge summary now carries interval vitals, unit suffixes and temperature in Fahrenheit.
  • Daily register of admissions and discharges as a report, with A4 landscape print and PDF.
  • The admission screen warns before an unsaved admission is discarded, and records it in the audit history.
  • Lab results import directly into the discharge summary portlet.

Queue & Patient Display

  • Patients can be messaged as their token approaches.
  • Display boards managed from a central console, with per-department layouts.
  • Health tips and announcements shown between token calls.
  • Queue service levels, counter capabilities, notification templates and a full audit trail are configurable.

Clinical Documentation

  • Template search in clinical notes supports arrow-key and Enter navigation.
  • The appointment wizard opens directly from the queue token list.

Administration & Compliance

  • Biometric attendance integrated with the HR attendance module.
  • Global bank and country masters maintained centrally, with country now mandatory.
  • Mandatory guardian details for patients under eighteen, configurable and on by default.
  • The number of facilities a tenant may create is governed by the licence.
  • Configuration screens record who created and last modified each entry.
  • Planned maintenance now holds the application closed properly, so no work is lost mid-upgrade.

Care Application

  • Every record shows the hospital it belongs to.
  • Facilities and patients are ordered by most recent activity.
  • Sign-in codes over WhatsApp, so the app works outside India.

Refinements

A month spent on the details: 1,053 corrections across billing, laboratory, pharmacy, in-patient, clinical documentation, patient records, queue, notifications and administration.

Billing & Accounts

  • Discounts calculate correctly in every combination of header and line-item, percentage and amount, and slab pricing.
  • Bill totals agree across the printed bill, the dashboard and settlement views.
  • Charges price from the patient's own payer plan, not the general service master.
  • Printed bills carry correct tax details, letterhead, rounding and patient information.
  • Deposits and refunds save reliably with the correct receipt number.
  • Repeating a save, or handling a return or package, no longer duplicates charges.

Laboratory & Radiology

  • Result entry retains parameters reliably, including package-billed and analyser-loaded tests.
  • Certification applies correctly; an uncertified report no longer shows an approval time.
  • Printed reports carry correct reference ranges, headings, age and doctor name, with no blank pages or repeated rows.
  • Requisitions record every test line and reach the lab reliably.
  • Analyser results attach to the correct patient and are no longer dropped.

Pharmacy & Inventory

  • Stock quantities and the ledger stay consistent with physical stock.
  • Goods receipt entry, amendment and deletion update stock and batches correctly.
  • Saves that previously failed silently now complete or report a clear reason.
  • Expiry handling is reliable: expired stock cannot be dispensed.
  • Billing, dispensing and returns complete without rolling back or running twice.

In-Patient

  • Bed allocation and transfer work correctly, including beds wrongly shown as occupied.
  • Discharge and in-patient bills print cleanly, with no blank leading pages or overlapping labels.
  • City, state and country appear on admissions, discharges and printed bills.
  • Printed bills no longer show internal costing detail.
  • Direct admission accepts a free bed and blocks admitting an already-discharged patient.

Clinical Documentation

  • Prescriptions, discharge summaries and case sheets print complete and correctly ordered.
  • Clinical notes save correctly and no longer report themselves as draft-only.
  • Vitals can be added and removed, and a reason for not recording them is retained.
  • Templates load correctly; deleted ones are no longer offered and users no longer overwrite each other.
  • Call Next on the doctor workbench calls the right patient.

Patients & Records

  • Registration saves correctly, including where a required field failed to appear.
  • Patient stickers print legibly: correctly oriented, wrapped, inside the label area.
  • A duplicate patient code gives a clear message, not a technical error.
  • Emergency contacts and international dialling codes save correctly.
  • Search and registration stay responsive under heavy simultaneous use.

Queue & Display

  • Printed tokens show the correct time and service, and fit token stationery.
  • Display boards handle long doctor names and counter lists without overflow.
  • Walk-in patients are called in the correct order.
  • Tokens number and expire against the facility's own time zone.
  • Patient name masking is honoured on public displays.

Care Application

  • The vitals screen shows recorded readings instead of reporting none exist.
  • The patient list shows one entry per person, not one per registration.
  • Visit summaries, discharge summaries and radiology reports open correctly.
  • Medication names are shown in readable form.
  • Access controls on patient-facing features are strengthened: every request is confined to the signed-in patient's own records.

Notifications & Admin

  • Appointment, receipt and feedback messages deliver reliably by SMS, email and WhatsApp.
  • Patient emails carry correct hospital branding; the hospital name appears on WhatsApp messages.
  • A patient with no email or mobile is recorded rather than silently discarded.
  • Payroll and salary calculations are correct, and the leave calendar reflects real approval status.
  • Roles and rights grant the intended access; language selection persists.

Upgrading

note

No action is required for existing functionality. New capabilities that change a workflow are switched off by default and can be enabled per facility from Configuration. Pharmacy free-tier features and the Care app are licensed separately. Contact your account manager to enable them.
