Schedule preventive maintenance

Plan regular checks for an asset and see which preventive work orders are scheduled, overdue or completed.

Preventive maintenance is work done on a schedule so equipment does not fail. Each preventive work order lists the tasks to do on an asset.

Create a work order​

  1. Open Maintenance Management › Preventive Maintenance. The list shows each work order with its asset, status and task. The statuses include Scheduled, Pending, Overdue and Completed.

  2. Click Add, then double-click the asset search box and choose the asset.

  3. Open Asset Detail to check the asset, then open Task List to add the tasks to be done.

  4. Click Save. Use Clear to empty the form.
