Set up model preventive maintenance
Define the standard preventive maintenance plan for an asset so work orders follow the same tasks every time.
A model preventive maintenance is the standard plan for an asset: the list of checks to repeat. Set it up once and use it for each work order.

Create a model plan

Open Maintenance Management › Model Preventive Maintenance. The list shows each plan with its asset and status.

Click Add.

Double-click the Asset Name search box and choose the asset.

Open Preventive Maintenance Details and enter the tasks and how often each is done.

Leave Status on Active and click Save.
