Set up Service Centre

A service centre is a place where services are carried out, such as a laboratory, an imaging room or a procedure room. Staff pick a service centre when they set where a service is performed and when they place some orders, such as radiology orders.

Add a service centre​

  1. Go to General Masters › Other Masters › Service Centre.

  2. Click Add. The service centre form opens. The empty service centre form

  3. Fill in the fields:

  4. Click Save. You return to the list and the new service centre appears in it.

Change or deactivate a service centre​

  1. In the list, click the ⋮ button at the end of the row and choose Edit.
  2. Change the name if needed. To stop offering the service centre, switch Status to Inactive.
  3. Click Save.

Service centres cannot be deleted from this screen. Make them Inactive instead.

Good to know​

  • The list starts empty. Add a service centre for each place that carries out services.
  • Click Back to List or Cancel to leave the form without saving.
